First Outreach in Years: God’s Word in Action at 14 Mile
As part of its annual close-up event for the year, the Port Moresby Assembly of the Revival Centres Church hosted a meaningful minicamp, community outreach, and Christmas combined fellowship. This gathering marked a significant milestone, as it was the first outreach held by the assembly after many years.
The three-day event ran from Friday evening, 12th December 2025, to Sunday, 14th December, with saints arriving on Friday evening and camping out under the open sky.
The community outreach was held at the communal market area at 14 Mile, Sogeri Road, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. It was an evening of refreshment and encouragement for families and passers-by who paused to listen to the Word of God. Many were blessed through testimonies, songs, and the sharing of the Gospel.
After many years, the Port Moresby Assembly returned to outreach! Saints stepped up to minister and share the Gospel, creating a refreshing evening of faith, fellowship, and encouragement at 14 Mile. The outreach theme was based on Matthew 24, focusing on the signs of the last days, delivering a timely and relevant message.
The entire weekend was marked by unity, fellowship, and spiritual encouragement, reminding all of the importance of remaining faithful and active in spreading the Gospel. The event concluded with a combined communion fellowship on Sunday, 14th December, which included a baptism.
We thank God for a successful close-up event and pray for continued growth, outreach, and spiritual renewal in the coming year.
