Yesterday (Sunday, 11th January 2026), the combined fellowship held at Joyce Bay was a meaningful and successful gathering. Joyce Bay has shown through this fellowship the power of faith, unity, and community collaboration. It was truly encouraging to see believers from different centres of Revival Centres Church (RCC), Port Moresby Assembly, come together in harmony, fellowship, and shared purpose.
The time of worship, sharing, and reflection strengthened our sense of community and reminded us of the importance of walking together in faith. Beyond the planned activities, the fellowship created space for genuine connection, encouragement, and mutual support among members.
Joyce Bay provided a peaceful setting that allowed us to reflect, refresh, and refocus on our calling as one body in Christ. The success of the fellowship reflects the spirit of teamwork, commitment, and love demonstrated by everyone involved. Community support and collaboration were evident throughout, showing that change and unity are possible when people come together for a shared purpose.
I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Zone 5 residents of Joyce Bay for their unwavering support, efforts in preparation, and providing oversight during this fellowship. Special thanks also to my mokeai (small brothers) of the community who assisted with work, clean-up supervision, car parking, and general support—they played an important role in the smooth running of the event.
We thank God for the opportunity to gather, for safe travel, and for the unity experienced throughout the day. May the lessons and relationships built during this fellowship continue to strengthen us in our walk of faith and service to others.
RCC Joyce Bay, under Pastor Dotaona, with all elders and saints, sincerely thank everyone for your support in making this combined fellowship a success. It has been a long time since we last gathered in this way, and it was inspiring to see everyone come together in such harmony and fellowship. This event reminded us of the strength of teamwork. Through collective effort, cooperation, and willingness to serve, we were able to coordinate and deliver a meaningful fellowship. Every contribution—big or small—played an important role in the day’s success in expanding the Gospel in the community.
Leadership is a challenging endeavour, but when you have a team, delegation empowers others to contribute their best. One key lesson in this event I learnt as a leader is the ability to delegate and witness how individuals’ skills and talents are manifested through taking responsibility and action.
Special thanks to Pastor Gebia and the elders for their wisdom in allowing the first combined fellowship at Joyce Bay for 2026. The music, food, and your smiles all made a lasting impact on the community.
Thank you all for your commitment, coordination, and spirit of togetherness.
Wishing you a blessed week ahead.
Meriti oh!
